Treat your students to a magical experience in a drama workshop where the focus is always on Respect for one another & making a difference.
Lincoln Avenue P.S. grade 2 class enjoyed an afternoon at the Palace where the King got captured by an evil dragon, and it didn’t necessarily take the strength of the Knights to save him, but his own daughters dressed in disguise. All the while, his son was in the royal kitchen creating a magical feast for the Kingdom as he much preferred to cook than to slay dragons. This fairytale taught the children that they could be anything they dreamed of if they believed in themselves!!
Workshop Details:
$200 includes
- 3 Hour Workshop including warm up games, stretches, music and improv.
- Costumes & props (class or group may incorporate their own ideas and suggestions as well)
- A Classroom keepsake DVD for the Daycare or class
- A Keepsake DVD for each child
Themes include
- Twisted or Fractured Fairytales
- Dr. Suess (the Lorax)
- Robert Munsch (Millicent & the Wind; Firestation, Paperbag Princess, Jennifer’s Tooth …and many more!)
- Environmental (using Award Winning music by MARKUS from Treehouse)
- Originals (you make it up…we’ll put it together!)
- Earth or Canada Day celebrations
Please Note: A photo and video release form must be signed by parents/legal guardians and all fees must be paid upfront.
Videos will be ready for pick-up or will be dropped off to the school or daycare 2-4 weeks following the event date.
